Wilbert "Webb" Harris Lambert

Wilbert "Webb" Harris Lambert, 90, of Bridgewater, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at his home.

He was born on October 6, 1934, and was a son of the late Joseph Sr. and Edna (Kerns) Lambert.

Webb had retired from Dunham-Bush and later enjoyed hauling water for the community.

Webb was united in marriage on February 23, 1958 to Polly Ann (Eye) Lambert, who preceded him in death on May 14, 2022.

Webb is survived by four children, Mary Jane Bowen, Judy (Kenneth) Cook, Kenneth (Leslie) Lambert, and Roy (Tina) Lambert; two brothers, Calvin (Juanita) Lambert, and Alvin (Carolyn) Lambert; sisters, Gertie (Carey) Newman, and Brenda (Richard) Miller; eight grandchildren, Jessica Bowen, Travis Lambert, Michael Bowen, Heather Shipe, Tyler Lambert, Kayla Jefferson, Summer Lambert, and Ezra Lambert; eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition this his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Lambert; son-in-law, Richard Bowen; grandchild, Jason Bowen; brothers, Garry, Bob, Joseph Jr., Clyde, Owen, and John Lambert. sisters, Marian Knight, Josephine Whetzel, Corine Custer, and Evelyn Knight.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 PM on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Bridgewater.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 24th, at 2 PM, at Spring Creek Church of the Nazarene, with Pastor Billy Curry officiating. Burial will follow at Sangerville Church of the Brethren Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made the the Spring Creek Church of the Nazarene.

The family would like to thank Shalla Knighting, Hunter Carroll, and Joyce Miller for the care provided to Webb.
