Twila June (Hott) Decker

November 8, 1939 - May 14, 2025

Twila June (Hott) Decker, 85, widow of Fred Granvel Decker, of Staunton, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at the Shenandoah Hospice House in Fishersville. 
Mrs. Decker was born in Franklin, West Virginia on November 8, 1939, the daughter of the late Thurman “Blake” Hott and Belva Hill (Bowers) Hott.
Twila was the former assistant manager at the Augusta Health Thrift Shop and attended Linden Heights Baptist Church and St. John’s Reformed Church of Christ. 
In addition to her husband of 67 years, and her parents, Mrs. Decker was preceded in death by a son, Edward Blake Decker; two sisters, Ida Allita (Hott) Jarvis and Beulah Helen (Hott) Jarvis; and a special uncle, Sheldon Bowers.
Surviving, are three sons, Scott G. Decker and his wife, Linda of Waynesboro, Timothy A. Decker and his wife, Penny of Middlebrook, and Neil B. Decker (Pam) of Staunton; a daughter-in-law, Jane (Oliver) Decker; four grandchildren, Timothy Decker (Abby), Chelsea Decker (Doug Keller), Kalin Decker (Katie), and Kristen Decker (Danny); eight great-grandchildren, Lillian Decker, Timothy Decker III, Ariadne Keller, Brione Keller, Brigette Brogan, John Painter, Ava Decker, and Easton Decker; a brother, William Lynn “Bill” Hott and his wife, Lisa of Middlebrook; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held in St. John’s Reformed Church of Christ Cemetery by Pastor Luke B. Smith. 
It is suggested that those desiring make memorial contributions to St. John’s Reformed Church of Christ Cemetery Fund or Linden Heights Baptist Church Building Fund.
