Tommy Lee Morris

Tommy Lee Morris, 73, of Grottoes, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023 at his home.

He was born in Rockingham County on January 21, 1950, and was the son of the late Oscar and Lucy (Cook) Morris.

On March 7, 1973, he was united in marriage to Sandra (Via) Morris, who survives.

Tommy worked as a gas station attendant before retiring.

He is survived by daughters, Sandy (Shawn) Brown, and Tabitha (Kenya) McCutcheon; grandchildren, Jessica Morris, Shaunte Morris, and Desiree Morris; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Robbie Morris; sister, Becky Agee.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Eugene Morris, and sister, Dora Pennington.

The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 PM on Friday, Oct 20, 2023 at Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Grottoes. A memorial service will follow with David Kite officiating.
