Timothy Lee Raynes

Timothy Lee Raynes, 62, of Dayton, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Sentara RMH Medical Center.

He was born on March 11, 1961 and was a son of the late Charles Lincoln "Link" and Doris Virginia (Dove) Raynes.

Timothy worked as a press operator at PXI. He was a gun enthusiast and a member of the National Rifle Association. He has previously worked as a dairy farmer. He was a jokester who enjoyed giving everyone a hard time. He was full of love for his family, especially his grandbabies.

He is survived by his daughters, Jordan Raynes, Jessica Moubray, and Stefanie Atkins; fiancee', Lynn Donald; sister, Pati Clemmer; grandchildren, Cheyenne Raynes, Ryelea Moubray, Peyton Moubray, Jovie Atkins, Eden Atkins, Coralynn Lam, and Linkynn Lam; nephew, Ricky Raynes.

In addition to his parents, Timothy was preceded in death by brother, Rick Raynes.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 25 at Johnson Funeral & Cremation Service in Bridgewater.

A funeral service celebrating Timothy's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at the funeral home with Pastor Justin Morris officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rockingham County Fire and Rescue.
