Timothy F. Taylor
Timothy Frank Taylor passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at his residence in Staunton.
He was born on September 12, 1967, in Staunton to the late James Frank and Fonda Faye Buchanan Taylor.
Timothy's career was centered around the family business he helped operate, Taylor and Sons Electrical Contractors. As an electrician, Timothy displayed exceptional skill and dedication. He embraced his work with determination and always went above and beyond to ensure that every job was completed to perfection. His meticulous nature earned him a reputation for excellence within the community.
Outside of his career, Timothy found joy in pursuing various hobbies and interests. He had a passion for hunting and fishing, relishing moments spent in nature. Additionally, Timothy had a talent for woodworking and invested many hours honing his craft. He was also actively engaged in many aspects of motorcycle drag racing. It was evident that he approached every aspect of his life with precision and an unwavering commitment to quality.
Faith played a significant role in Timothy's life as well, being a member of Saint Paul's Church in Staunton.
He is survived by his beloved daughter, Casey Renee Taylor. Likewise, Timothy held a close bond with his brother, Michael Taylor and his wife Ellen, who also survive him. Timothy also leaves behind his uncles, George Taylor and Ed Buchanan, along with their wives, Mary and Kathleen, respectively; his nephew, John Taylor; his aunts, Mary Ann Murray, Elaine Taylor, and Ruth and Kay Buchanan; and his many close friends whom he loved very much.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Henry Funeral Home in Staunton. A graveside service at the Old Providence ARP Church Cemetery in Steeles Tavern will follow on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at 3:00 PM with the Chaplain Dennis Taylor officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Danny “Dog” Heavener, Pat Wright, Robert Wilhelm, Neil Landes, Mike Taylor, and John Taylor.
