Stewart Mathew Obrien

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stewart Mathew Obrien, who departed this world unexpectedly on May 19, 2025, at the age of 51. Stewart touched the lives of many through his sense of humor and kind heart. He is known for his love of yard work and his love of cars. Stewart is survived by his husband, Shawn Moubry; brother Joseph O'Brien Jr. and wife, Jeannie; Billy (Pie) O'Brien, a son, Caden O'Brien; 3 nephews, Tyler O'Brien, Greg O'Brien, and Justin Hickman. Stewart was preceded in death by his parents, Alice Faye Zaire and Joseph O'Brien SR.

Stewart was loved by many, and you knew when he loved you, because he loved hard. Once he loved you, he loved you for life. He struggled with various issues but kept his chin up as much as possible to the end. Stewart’s kindness, strength, and love will continue to inspire and guide those who knew him. Stew will be deeply missed, but his spirit will remain in our hearts forever.

Rest in peace, sweet Stewart, you will always be remembered and cherished.
