Sidney Albert Morris

Sidney Albert Morris Sr., 84, of Grottoes, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023 at his home.

He was born on April 28, 1939 and was a son of the late Everett and Rose (Via) Morris.

Sidney ran his own business, S.A. Morris Paving. He loved going to his grandkids sporting events and tinkering in his garage.

Sidney was united in marriage on July 16, 1960 to Doris Morris who survives.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Sarah (Harold) Conway, Amy (Alan) Click, and Sidney "Butch" Morris, Jr.; his brother, Billy Morris; sister, Charlene Hague; and three grandchildren, Caitlin Conway, Colby Morris, and Kendall Morris, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his siblings Mattie Saufley, Charles Morris, Dewey Morris, William Morris, Robert Morris, Junior "Eddie" Morris.

A service celebrating Sidney's life will be held on September 27, 2023 at 4:00 PM at Port Republic Mutual Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and family at the home.
