Shirley J. Spradlin

Shirley Mae Jack Spradlin, 77, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at her residence in Staunton. She was born on February 11, 1949, in Bath County to the late Jesse Clayton and Cora Devine Windsor Jack. Shirley worked as a clerk at Walmart for many years. She also enjoyed being a homemaker and took great pride in caring for her home and family. She had a special love for her cats, Precious, Midnight, Cocoa, Callie, Pepper, and Tiger who brought her comfort and companionship throughout her life. She is survived by her son, Christopher Scott Spradlin and his wife, Kimberlee; her daughter, Tracy Kellum and her partner, Dwayne Cline; her grandchildren, Austin Spradlin and his wife, Courteney and Samantha Spradlin and her fiancé, Blaze Herring; her great-grandson, Cason Scott Spradlin; her step-granddaughter, McKenna Mace; and her siblings, Thelma Madison of Millboro, Florence Clark of Warm Springs, Jesses Lawhorn of Craigsville, and Kathleen Harris of Churchville. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Byram. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Millboro Christian Church Cemetery with Reverend Russell Heinrich officiating. Serving as active pallbearers will be Austin Spradlin, Timohty Mawyer, Steve Rudolph, Frank Rankin, Jimmy Harris, and Jamie Harris. Henry Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
