Shirley Habron

Shirley Wayne Habron, 69, of Stanley, died on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Harrisonburg Health and Rehab.He was born on February 5, 1954, in Luray and was a son of the late Arthur Lemuel Habron and Magdalene Virginia Habron.Shirley worked at Walmart for several years as a stocker and door greeter. He was a member of the Calvary Independent Brethren Church.Shirley is survived by numerous cousins and family members, as well as his caregivers, Terry and Wendy, Joyce, Annjeanette, Angel and Layla.In addition to his parents, Shirley was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie L. Habron, who died at birth.As per his request, his body was donated to science.A celebration of life will be conducted at a later date.The Bradley Funeral Home will be open from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Monday, January 22, and Tuesday, January 23, for those who wish to sign the registry book.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Stanley Volunteer Fire Department.
