Shirley Ann Pritt

Mrs. Shirley Ann Pritt, 89, of 423 Hendren Avenue, Staunton, died on Friday, May 26, 2023, at Shenandoah Nursing and Rehab in Fishersville.

She was born in Staunton, VA to the late George W. and Ruby Gertrude (Maybush) Bartley.

Her parents; her husband; Cameron R. Pritt, Sr.; her brother George W. Bartley Jr.; and her sisters, Peggy J. Hughes and Phyllis A. Howdyshell; all preceded her in death.

Mrs. Pritt is survived by her sons, Milton L. Bartley and his wife, Jana S., and Cameron R. Pritt, Jr. and his wife, Holly; her daughter, Sharon K. Knisley (Butch Shifflett); her brothers, Jerry L., Ronald K., and Danny Lee Bartley; her sister, Linda Swats; her grandchildren, Jamie E. Knisley and his wife, Mary, Katelyn D. Bartley, and Jayce L. Bartley; and two great-grandchildren, Luke and Leanna Knisley.

Mrs. Pritt worked for many years at Kings Daughters Hospital and Augusta Health.

Per her request, a graveside service will be held at Thornrose Cemetery on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 2:00 PM with Ms. Dana Rhodenizer officiating.

In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Pritt suggests tributes take the form of contributions to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank (P.O. Box 937 Verona, VA 24482).
