Shelby "Overstreet" Ann Davis

July 18, 1938 - September 5, 2023

Shelby Ann (Overstreet) Davis, 85, widow of Taylor Eugene ā€œTedā€ Davis, formerly of Waynesboro, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at the Regency at Augusta in Fishersville.Ā 
Mrs. Davis was born in Bedford, Virginia on July 18, 1938, a daughter of the late Lawrence Overstreet and Gladys (Nichols) Overstreet.
Shelby, a prayer warrior, was of the Methodist faith and loved reading her Bible and devotionals. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, tole painting, crafting and spending time with her family. Mrs. Davis was generous and loving and will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents and husband of fifty-four years, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by a brother, Buddy Overstreet and a grandson, Chris Doss.
Surviving, is a son, Greg E. Davis and his wife, Denise of McDowell; a brother, Jimmy Overstreet of Bedford; a sister, Bobbie Brown of Rocky Mount; four grandchildren, Ashley N. Clifton and her husband, Ryan, Hailey Doss, Derek Doss, Jr., and Lindsey (Doss) Perrow; four great-grandchildren, Ethan Clifton, Peyton Clifton, Samuel Perrow and Scarlett Perrow; and a number of nieces and nephews.
There will be a private family gathering at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
Burial will be private in Riverview Cemetery in Waynesboro.
