Sharon Redman

Sharon Ellen Redman, age 76 of Morgantown, WV and formerly of Petersburg, WV passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at her residence.

Sharon was born on November 26, 1946 in Petersburg, WV and was a daughter of the late Harry Lissle Redman and Flora Elizabeth (Beckwith) Redman.  In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by one son, Demetrius Redman; two sisters, Selena Redman and Shirley Redman and two brothers, Dana Redman and Keith Redman, Sr.

Sharon is survived by two daughters, Tammy R. Beckwith of Morgantown, WV and Stacey L. Parker of Hope Mills, NC; seven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren;  

One sister, Dawn Redman of Petersburg, WV and two brothers, Roger Redman of Moorefield, WV and Harry G. Redman of Petersburg, WV and several nieces and nephews.

Sharon attended Petersburg High School.  She married Calvin R. Redman in 1960 and moved to Princeton, WV in 1982 until 1997.  Sharon has lived with her daughter and family in Morgantown, WV the past six months. 

Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 2 PM in the chapel of Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg with Brother James Redman officiating.  Sharon’s family will receive friends from Noon until time of service at 2 PM.

Interment will be in the Redman Cemetery, Moorefield, WV.
