Sharon Lynn Moyer Bass

Sharon Lynn Moyer-Bass, 66, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at Augusta Health following a courageous and short battle with cancer.

She was born May 1, 1959 a daughter of Samuel A. and Patricia E. (Waggy) Moyer.

Sharon graduated from Wilson Memorial High School and Valley Vocational Technical School in 1977

She was a member of Tinkling Springs Presbyterian Church in Fishersville Va.

Sharon was strong willed with a big heart for seeing people for who they truly were and for coaxing them out of their shell.

With kind words, a gentle smile or the comfort of her presence she had a way of making everyone feel valued. She will be remembered for her generous heart and a way of making memories.

In addition to her parents, survivors include a brother, Richard Moyer and wife Tracey; sister, Kim Moyer Driver; her special love, Drew Cashett her high school sweetheart which she reconnected after 50 years after living in South Carolina.

She also leaves a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and her church family.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 30, 2025 at Tinkling Springs Presbyterian Church Cemetery followed by celebration of life service at 11:00 a.m. in Spring Hall with Pastor Merle Fisher officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes and Crematory.
