Scott Fitzgerald

CHURCHVILLE – David Scott Fitzgerald, 60, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024.

Scott was born August 1, 1963 in Augusta County, a son of Sim and Estelle (Herring) Fitzgerald. He was a graduate of Stuarts Draft High School, and was employed as a delivery driver for CocaCola. Scott was an avid hunter and fisherman, and truly enjoyed the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Larry and Warren Fitzgerald.

Surviving are his wife, Deborah Annette (Sprouse) Fitzgerald; two children, Tara Fitzgerald of Churchville and Trenton Fitzgerald of Broadway; a brother, Jeff Fitzgerald of Staunton; a sister, Cathy Cross of Stuarts Draft; granddaughter, Charleigh Fitzgerald and grandson Levi Fitzgerald.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, February 5 in Union Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
