Sally Ann Hathaway Dentinger

July 26, 1942 - June 1, 2023

Sally Ann (Hathaway) Dentinger, 80, wife of James Paul “Jim” Dentinger, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Tom Harlow. 
Mrs. Dentinger was born in Buffalo, New York on July 26, 1942, the daughter of the late Henry Hathaway and Eleanor (Hey) Hathaway.
Sally retired as a secretary from Faith Assembly of God in North Fort Myers, where she was a member. She enjoyed reading, knitting, and crafting, especially diamond art and things that sparkled. If ever asked how she was doing, Sally would respond with her motto, “I’m blessed.”
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dentinger was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Hathaway.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of 61 years, is a daughter, Ann (Dentinger) Harlow and her husband, Tom of Stuarts Draft; a son, Scott J. Dentinger and his partner, John Kroll of Orlando, Florida; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Cowles and her husband, Steve and Garrett Harlow and his wife, Rachael; and two great-grandchildren, Colton and Hadleigh Cowles.
Funeral services will be held at a later date in Fort Myers.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
