Born on February 15, 1942 in Franklin, WV she was a Daughter of the late Cornelia Bowers Thompson.
Sadie was a huge StingRays fan and attended many hockey games. She was even loved by the mascot Cool Ray. She loved to paint and many of her paintings hang in the family home. She loved puzzles, solitaire, mystery games and gardening.
Sadie is survived by James Pittman, son of Goose Creek, SC and grandson Jimmy Pittman of Goose Creek, SC.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, December 30, 2023, 10-11 AM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Franklin, WV.
