Rudolph Andrew Miller

- April 1, 2025

Dear Family and Friends,
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Rudolph Andrew Miller. A devoted father, grandfather, friend, and man of great faith, he transitioned to Glory on April 1, 2025, at the age of 91 in Charlotte, NC.
Rudolph was born on October 24, 1933, in Staunton, VA, to Marguerite and Robert Miller. A proud resident of Staunton for 85 years, he served his country as a U.S. Navy veteran during the Korean War. After dedicating 29 years of service to Dupont, he retired in 1997.
Beyond his career, Rudolph found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid fisherman and a passionate fan of the Washington Commanders football team. He also loved watching NCAA basketball. A man of deep faith, he served as Board of Trustee-Secretary at Mount Zion Baptist Church and was a cherished member of the church's baseball team.
Rudolph is survived by his loving wife, Lula; his children Teresa, Lisa, Anthony, and David; and his grandchildren, Cassandra, Jonathan, Lionel, Lauryn, McKayla, Mhaaayyah, Malachi, and Markel. He also leaves behind great-grandchildren Kingston, Gianna, Sasha, Ahmir, Khyzen, and Penelope. His memory is treasured by his nieces and nephews Michele, Yohanna, Simone, Harold Jr., Shakila, as well as numerous cousins, including Butch, Robin, Lisa, and Cathy.
He was preceded in death by his siblings Sonny, Harold Sr., Charlene, Dorothy, and Jerome Miller.
Rudolph’s legacy of unwavering work ethic, family values, and deep faith will forever be remembered. We celebrate his life and the love he shared with us all.
With love and remembrance, from the Miller family.
