Roxie Edmonds

Roxie Arlene Edmonds of Middletown, VA passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023, at her residence.

A memorial service for Mrs. Edmonds will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 18, 2023, at Stover Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Edmonds was born in Woodstock, VA on June 27, 1939, a daughter of the late Harry Wilbur and Esther Virginia Lindamood Wetzel.   She retired from George’s Inc. as a line worker.   She enjoyed watching game shows and soap operas, and spending time with her grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Sherrie Grant and her siblings Elwood, Carol, Connie, and Mike.

Survivors include her husband Charles Edward Edmonds, Jr.; children Rhonda Likens (Bill) of Strasburg, Beth Edmonds of Winchester, Sally Bennett (John) of Winchester; her grandchildren Candace (Joe), Shannon (Megan), Josh (Vicki), Brandon (Lindsay), Aliza, Tyler, Elizabeth and 12 great-grandchildren; her sister Faye and brothers Dickie, Jerry, Dale, and Patie along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Blue Ridge Hospice and Dr. Resta and their staff for their caring service.
