Roscoe Wayne Griffin

Roscoe Wayne Griffin, 71, husband of Brenda Jean Cash Griffin, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 in Staunton.

Roscoe was born on September 18, 1951 in Augusta County to the late John Emanuel Griffin and Virginia Belle Bright Griffin.

He worked for the Augusta County Public School System at Fort Defiance High School as a custodian.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his sons, John Logan and Allen Wayne Griffin; his brother, John “Johnny” William Griffin; and his sister, Nancy Charlene Griffin Roope; his sister-in-law, Viola Griffin; and his grandchildren, Brandon L. and Clare Griffin.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, James Lee Griffin and his sister, Judy Pricilla Griffin Vladik.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday May 7, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Henry Funeral Home with Pastor Golden C. Clark, Jr. officiating.

Interment will be at Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens at a later date.
