Rosalie P. Simmons
Rosalie P. Simmons, 91, of Harrisonburg, Virginia and formerly of Franklin, West Virginia, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Sentara RMH in Harrisonburg.
She was born November 11, 1932 at Smith Creek (Franklin), West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Denver Ray Pennington and Clara Permelia Lambert Pennington.
Rosalie was a graduate of Franklin High School. She was a clerk at Western Auto in Franklin and Point Pleasant, West Virginia and a hospital OB ward clerk in Point Pleasant. She was a member of the Smith Creek Church of the Brethren, and later became a member of the Garber Church of the Brethren.
On December 9, 1950, she married Edward Glenn Simmons, who preceded her in death.

Six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by a sister, Wilma Geil.
