Ronda Forrester
Ronda Louise Forrester, 57, of Strasburg, VA, beloved wife and devoted mother & grandmother, departed this life to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 15, 2025.
Ronda was born on September 14, 1967, in Leesburg, Virginia, a daughter of Ronald Festus and Nancy Louise Poland Nicholas. Ronda was graduate of Loudoun County High School and Virginia Baptist College, and a former member of the Leesburg Volunteer Fire Company. She devoted her life to raising her children and ministering to others. Ronda was an active member of Grace Baptist Church in Woodstock and a former member of Loudoun Baptist Temple in Leesburg, VA. Ronda and her husband served as missionaries in Romania. She loved children and served in many areas of ministry to children. She also loved to encourage and minister to people. Ronda would often reach out and lift up people during difficult times or when others had given up on them. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Norval & Delma Nicholas.
Ronda is survived by her husband, Blair Forrester, sons Sean Forrester (Janet); Marc Forrester (Branden); Joshua Forrester, and her granddaughter, Cameryn. She is also survived by her parents Ron & Nancy Nicholas and brother, Ron Nicholas (Casey), and many nieces & nephews.
A celebration of life service for Ronda will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at Grace Baptist Church, 1255 Hoover Rd., Woodstock, VA 22664, officiated by Pastor Ken Sparks. Internment will follow in Riverview Cemetery officiated by Dr. Eugene Nichols. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 19, 2025, from 6-8 pm at Stover Funeral Home in Strasburg, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
Pallbearers will be Einstine Anonas, Dave Dixon, David Griffin, D’Andre Lincoln, Travis Mott, and Lamar Taylor.
In lieu of sending flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 Cork St., Winchester, VA 22601 or to Timber Ridge Bible Camp, care of Grace Baptist Church, Woodstock.
