Robert Lee Barnett III, 27, of Grottoes, VA passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024 at his home.

He was born on September 11, 1996 and was a son of Robert L. Barnett, II and Barbara (Kittle) Barnett & his step-father David Kennedy.

Robert had worked in construction. He was a member of the Mountain Misfits RC Crawler Club. He enjoyed shooting guns and taking Bandit to the park.

Surviving in addition to his mother, step father and father is his companion, Sarah Atkins; his daughter, Lillian Barnett; brother, Bradley Payne; sister, Amberly Letilier; aunts and uncles, Amanda "Amy" and Brent Hammond, and Lora and Oscar Barneycastle; cousins, B.J. Hammond and Lyndsey Carter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at a later date.
