Robert Allen "Rob" Fowler

December 26, 1960 - June 21, 2023

Robert Allen “Rob” Fowler, 62, husband of Scarlett Virginia (Sours) Fowler of Goshen, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at his residence. 
Mr. Fowler was born in Oakland, California on December 26, 1960, a son of Donna (Huntley) Fowler and the late Robert Allen Fowler.
Rob was a member of Craigsville Presbyterian Church and was a retired veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in the first Gulf War. Following his retirement, Mr. Fowler was employed at Lowe’s Home Improvement. He was a member of the Craigsville VFW Post #9480 and Staunton VFW Post #2216. Rob was an avid volunteer within the Craigsville community. He was a supportive father and enjoyed his daughters’ participation in high school sports and activities. He was a lifelong Denver Broncos fan and enjoyed watching high school and college football. Rob was a proud supporter of the Wasted Wages truck pulling team and never passed up an opportunity to spend time with his girls or grab an ice cold coffee from Dunkin’ Donuts. 
In addition to his father, Mr. Fowler was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Fowler and a brother-in-law, Tim Hernandez.
Surviving, in addition to his mother of Denver, Colorado, and his wife of thirty-seven years, are two daughters, Shelby Nicole Fowler of Staunton and Callie Virginia Fowler and her boyfriend, Jason Ham, of Waynesboro; four sisters, Cheryl Chase and her husband, Billie of Montana, Cathy Krauss and her husband, Steve, Debbie Moss and her husband, Robert, and Cindy Hernandez all of Colorado; a brother-in-law, Wyatt Sours and his wife, Paula; and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. 
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Craigsville Presbyterian Church by Pastor Gwen Carr.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
