Richard Franklin Berry

Richard Franklin Berry, 82, of Grottoes, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at his home.

Richard was born in West Virginia on December 4, 1940, to the late Herbert Franklin and Ollie (Simons) Berry.

On January 5, 1963, he was united in marriage to Sharon Dawn (Leistra) Berry who preceded him in death.

Richard is survived by his children, Waverly "Ricky" Berry and wife Wilma and Jane Madison; two grandchildren, Amanda "Skibo" Dawn Mitchell and husband JJ, and Ricky "Rufus" Berry and wife Eve; three great-grandchildren, Tristan and Aidan Mitchell, and Millie Berry; siblings, Thelma Suton and husband Chris, and Louis Worsham; sister-in-law, Carolyn Berry; niece, Crystal "Chubbs" Gagnor.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Berry.

No formal service are planned at this time.
