Richard F. Fotter

Richard F. Fotter, 83, husband of Zona M. Fotter, passed away April 16, 2023.

He was born on September 18, 1939 in Industry, Maine to the late Elmer and Junie Fotter.

He retired from the U.S. Navy after twenty-one plus years. He served three tours in Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years; his step-son, Greg Ropert of Waynesboro; four step-grandchildren, Mitchel Ropert, Catrina Ropert, Justin Ropert, Sean Ropert; six step great-grandchildren; special friends, Lisa Nobles, Charity and Cathy Ropert.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Fotter of Seoul, South Korea; and his in-laws, Paul and Winnie Mowen.

A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Monday, April 24, 2023 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.
