Rebekah Rae Martin

WEST AUGUSTA – Rebekah Rae (Armstrong) Martin passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2026, one day before her 48th birthday.

She was born in Waynesboro on June 24, 1978 and was a daughter of Rudy and Doris (Michael) Armstrong of West Augusta. Rebekah was a 1996 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and was employed by Sharp Shopper in Waynesboro for fifteen years and served as a customer service assistant supervisor.

In addition to her parents, Rebekah is survived by two children, Victoria Martin and husband Taylor of Waynesboro and Michael Martin and girlfriend Raegan of Staunton; a sister, Renee Clark and husband Zac of Crozet; two nephews, Ruger and Sawyer Clark; and her granddog, “Gus.”

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 27 in the chapel of Bear Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Lester Kennedy. Burial will follow in West Augusta Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Victoria Martin, Michael Martin, Madison Earnest, Thomas Runyon, Darby Hewitt, and Arion Nycum.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 – 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
