Raymond Harold Cullen

January 28, 1940 - December 17, 2023

Raymond Harold Cullen, 83, husband of Joyce H. Cullen, of Lyndhurst, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at River Edge in Waynesboro.
Mr. Cullen was born in Augusta County, Virginia on January 28, 1940, a son of the late Harold Cullen and Kathryn (Davis) Cullen.
Raymond retired from DuPont after 38 years and later worked for Parker Bows. He was a member of the Aero Drive Church of God and coached Little League and Babe Ruth Baseball for many years. Raymond had a 1935 Chevy Coupe, which he restored many times. He enjoyed painting cars, attending car shows, going to the beach and people watching. 
In addition to his parents, Mr. Cullen was preceded in death by his first wife, Peggy Jean (Mawyer) Cullen.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, is a son, Rodney Cullen and his wife, Ann; a daughter, Cindy Weaver and her husband, Mike; five step-children, Sherry Reed and her husband, Marshall, Pennie Raynes and her husband, Dale, David Campbell, Michelle “Buzz” Jordan and her husband, Danny, and Todd Campbell and his wife, Mafalda; two brothers, Larry Cullen and Don Cullen and his wife, Wanda; two sisters, Betsy Coffey and her husband, Delmas and Patsy Burkholder and her husband, Eddie; six grandchildren, Brooks, Hunter, and Lacey Cullen, Makenzie, Kyle Weaver and his wife, Sierra and Brandon Weaver and Calla Tinsley; thirteen step-grandchildren, Natasha, Katrina, Anthony and his wife, Heather, Candice and her husband, Jonathan, Brad, Dakota and his wife, Adriana, Jonathan, Angelica and her husband, Chris, Nicole, Danielle, Seth, Kyle, and Layne; four great-grandchildren, Braden Wriston, Meadow Ott, Alana Weaver, and Aubrey Womack; and numerous step-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Daniel Hines and Pastor Bruce Swartz.
Burial will be private in Augusta Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers will be Brooks Cullen, Hunter Cullen, Kyle Weaver, Brandon Weaver, Mark Cullen, and Seth Campbell.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
