Randall William Turner
Randall William Turner, age 79, of Petersburg, WV passed away peacefully on Monday, August 21, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Randall was born on October 11, 1943 in Petersburg, WV and was a son of the late Otha Turner and Nellie Golden (Borror) Turner.
In addition to his parents, Randall was preceded in death by an infant granddaughter, Gabriella Morgan Turner; three sisters, Shelby (Turner) Alt, Marsha (Turner) Lahman and Brenda (Turner) Brewer and two brothers, David D. Turner and O. Dwayne Turner.
Randall was a 1962 graduate of Petersburg High School. He was a lifelong farmer and operated several businesses including Exxon Gas Station, Turner’s Skating Rink, The Log Restaurant, Turner’s Auto Sales and Garage and Turner Apartments. Randall was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church. He loved his mountain lands where he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Randall is survived by his wife of 58 years, Linda (Barr) Turner.
Three Sons: Jeff Turner, Rodney Turner (Malinda) and David Turner and Pandora Barr of Petersburg, WV
Five Grandchildren: Chelsie Turner (Lauren), Ashley Sherman (Ross), Colton Turner (Brittany), Kahner Turner and Blake Turner.
Four Grandchildren: Ava Sherman, Aliya Sherman, Addison Sherman and Kane Turner.

Sarah “Sandy” Willie (Doug) of Herndon, VA
Rosalyn “Margie” Judy (Dave) of Upper Tract, WV
Two brothers: Kelly Turner (Debbie) of Petersburg, WV
Gregory Turner of Petersburg, WV
Two sisters-in-law: Darlene Hesse Turner and Marcia Marshall Turner
Two brothers-in-law: Dennis Alt and Terry Lahman
Several nieces and nephews.
Randall’s family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 24, 2023 in the chapel of Schaeffer Funeral Home with the Rev. David Webb and the Rev. Gary Phillips officiating.
Burial will be in the Turner Family Cemetery.
