Phyllis Morrison

Phyllis Anne Morrison, 88, of Luray, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at Sentara RMH Medical Center.She was born on May 6, 1935, in Lynchburg and was a daughter of the late Ottie Lovelace Ford and Blanche Etta Ford.On September 22, 1958, Phyllis married Preston William Morrison.She is survived by a daughter, Vanessa Sutton of Luray; two granddaughters, Candace Orenic (Marshall) of Harrisonburg, and Holly Williams (Chris) of Luray; four great-grandchildren, Ona, Sable and Roman Orenic, and Benjamin Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Preston William Morrison; three sisters, Helen Hash, Beatrice Kreger and Eunice Wieringo; and two brothers, Ollie Ford and Ernest Ford.A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
