Paul (Tink) Rinker
Paul Lee “Tink“ Rinker, Sr., 81, of Toms Brook, VA passed away on December 21, 2025, at Winchester Medical Center.
Paul was born in Woodstock, VA on August 22, 1944, a son of the late Paul Irvin and Ruth Catherine Grove Rinker. He was a graduate of Strasburg High School, the owner and operator of Rinker’s Speed and Repair until his retirement, a member of the Woodstock Moose, as well as the Valley Cruisers of Winchester. He was a race car driver for over 25 years, racing at Winchester, Waynesboro, and Hagerstown to name a few. He loved racing and all things cars.
He is survived by his children Robin Wilson (Gary), Karen Moore, Paul Rinker Jr. (Brenda); his granddaughters Amanda Moore Partlow, Kasey Wilson Yancey (Robert), Amber Rinker; his sister-in-law Carolyn Rinker; his caregivers Joan Cubbage, Glen Cubbage, Karen Rinker; his fur babies Lisa and Linda and several nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family members.
A funeral service for Mr. Rinker will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Stover Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Funkhouser officiating. Burial will follow at Fishers Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
The pallbearers will be Russell Partlow, Robert Yancey, Jr., James S. Shell, Josh Wilkins, and Randy Wilkins.
