Paul Nathaniel Stinnett

June 29, 1947 - February 1, 2024

Paul Nathaniel Stinnett, 76, husband of Rebecca Jean “Bec” (Cash) Stinnett, of Alextine Drive in Staunton, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at his residence. 
Mr. Stinnett was born in Roanoke, Virginia on June 29, 1947, a son of the late Wesley Edward Stinnett and Hazel (May) Stinnett.
Mr. Stinnett was a veteran of the United States Air Force and Army Reserve. He served in Civil Air Patrol as Lead Wing Commander. Following his service in the Air Force, Paul worked for and later retired from Richmond Fire Department and Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting model trains, making model planes, and spending time with his family. 
In addition to his parents, Mr. Stinnett was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Frye and Anne Ager; and a brother-in-law, Fred Beverage.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of twenty-four years, are two sons, Robert Stinnett (Michelle) of Amherst and Jason Stinnett (Wendy) of Powhatan; a daughter, Tammy Graham (Tracy) of Bedford; five grandchildren, Harley, Branson, Jessie, Abigail, and Jayden; three great-grandchildren; his father-in-law, Donald S. Cash of Staunton; a special sister-in-law, Debbie Beverage of Staunton; three brothers-in-law, Johnny Cash (Molly) of Fishersville, and Timmy and Toby Cash both of Staunton; a special niece, Amanda Fridley (Brian) and son, Colton; a special nephew, David Beverage (Erin) and daughter, Carly; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2024 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Reverend Daniel Barham.
The family will receive friends following the service.
