Patsy Marie Clifton

Patsy Marie Clifton, 68, of Staunton, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Augusta Health in Fishersville. 
Ms. Clifton was born in Bath County, Virginia on June 1, 1955, a daughter of the late Herbert Layton and Millie (Campbell) Layton. 
Patsy was a caring, loving person who would do anything for anyone. She enjoyed flowers, camping, and being in the outdoors. Patsy loved animals, especially her dog, “Grizzly”.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Clifton was preceded in death by her companion, Luke Clifton; a son, Daniel Clifton; and a sister, Bertha Layton.
Surviving, are five children, Lisa Johnson, Tammy Hallomen, Christy Stokes, Amanda Miller, and Charles Clifton; a brother, Herbert Layton; two sisters, Betty Strickler and Shirley Rodeffer; grandchildren, Saprina “Boo Bear” (Chris Thompson), Brittany, Lindsay, Erik, Hunter, Daniel, Adele, Trevon, James, Annabelle, Abigail, Taylor, Kaylee, and Larry; her caregiver, Angie Back (Wallace); and numerous great-grandchildren. 
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Augusta Memorial Park by Reverend William “Bill Trice. 
Active pallbearers will be Kevin Santmyer, Barry Powell, Andy Back, Christopher Thompson, Doug Snyder, and Peeper Miller. 
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
