Patsy Ann Reel

Patsy Ann Reel, age 79, of Baker, WV passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at the Hampshire Center in Romney, WV.  She was born on June 15, 1944 in Harrisonburg, VA, the daughter of the late Kenneth Hall and Rosa Lee (Combs) Miller.  On June 13, 1970, Patsy married David Charles Reel, who survives in Baker.
Mrs. Reel attended school in Hardy County and was a member of New Dale Church of the Brethren.  Patsy was a homemaker who took pleasure in caring for her family and especially enjoyed visits with her grandchildren.   She also enjoyed puzzles, word searches, watching game shows, and eating her favorite treat, Butter Pecan ice cream. 
In addition to her husband, Patsy is survived by: a daughter, Cindy Thorne of Petersburg, WV; a son, Craig Miller (Sallie) of Moorfield, WV; 2 sisters, Linda Funk of Baker, WV; Brenda Brill of Martinsburg, WV; 3 brothers, David Miller (Becky) of Winchester, VA; Gary Miller (Donna) of Baker, WV; Robert Miller (Effie) of Moorefield, WV; 6 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by: an infant daughter, Heidi Reel; a brother, Mitchell Andrew Miller; 2 sisters, Carolyn Milburn and Thelma Miller.
Patsy’s family will receive friends on Thursday, January 18, 2024, 12-1 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV.
