Patricia Ann Adkins

Patricia Ann Adkins, age 66, of Martinsburg, WV went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Care Haven Center in Martinsburg, WV after a long illness.  She was born on October 7, 1957 in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of Dale Allen Alt, Sr. of Romney, WV and the late Roberta (Myers) Alt.  Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Robert Adkins.
Ms. Adkins graduated from Overly High School in Baltimore, MD and attended the Petersburg Church of God in Petersburg, WV.  She worked at Hester’s Industry Inc. in Moorefield, WV for several years as well as a homemaker.  She enjoyed cooking for family and friends, gardening, and cherished time spent with her family, especially her Aunt Elva.  Patricia was a sweet and kind soul. She lovingly took care of her father for many years and always looked forward to the Dale, Sr. and Ida Alt family reunion at Camp Echo in Cabins, WV.
In addition to her father, Patricia leaves behind to cherish her memories: a daughter, Veronica Lee Price (James Conner) of North Carolina; a brother, Dale Allen Alt, Jr. of Moorefield, WV; 3 grandchildren, Chasity Mask, Jameson, and Addisyn Price all of North Carolina; 4 great-grandchildren, Addisyn, Makenna, and Daxton Mask, and Kaydence Oaks; an aunt, Elva (Alt) Hartlieb; several nieces and nephews, including Dale, III and Jacob Alt. She was preceded in death by: a son, Jason Price; an infant brother, Douglas Keith Alt; and a sister, Brenda Lee Vetters.
In honoring Patricia’s wishes, she will be cremated and inurned at Lahmansville Cemetery, Lahmansville, WV with all services being private.  Memories and words of comfort may be left at www.basagic.com
