Oather "Carl" Puffenbarger

Oather “Carl” Puffenbarger, Jr., 59, of Crawford Drive, Churchville, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025.
Mr. Puffenbarger was born in Staunton, Virginia on December 23, 1965, a son of Nancy Marie (Cash) Staton and the late Oather Carl Puffenbarger, Sr.
Carl was previously employed by Southern States Petroleum as a truck driver and was a member of Village Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. 
In addition to his father, Mr. Puffenbarger was preceded in death by his first wife, Robin Renea (Jarvis) Puffenbarger. 
Surviving, in addition to his mother of Churchville, are two daughters, Jessica M. Puffenbarger and her fiancé, David Callison and Ashley R. Carroll, all of Churchville; three grandchildren, Katelyn Turner and her husband, Cole, Morgan G. Hodge, and Madison Carroll; a great-granddaughter, Adelyn Turner; two brothers, William “Billy” Puffenbarger and Ernest “Buck” Puffenbarger and his wife, Kelli, all of Churchville; two nieces, Kelsi Puffenbarger and Ashley Ashley and her husband, Justin; a nephew, Clayton Puffenbarger; and two great-nephews, Dalton and Gunner Ashley. 
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 10, 2025 at Immanuel Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Middlebrook by Pastor Todd Yoder. 
Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Hemp, Jerry Bryant, Clayton Puffenbarger, Justin Ashley, Neal Hanger, and Kevin Lloyd. 
The family will receive friends anytime at their residence, 235 Crawford Drive, Churchville, VA 24421.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
