Nancy Louise (Hamblin) Puffenbarger

Nancy Louise (Hamblin) Puffenbarger, 75, wife of James Wesley Puffenbarger, Jr., of Craigsville, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville. 
Mrs. Puffenbarger was born in Radford, Virginia on June 13, 1950, a daughter of the late Flora Hamblin and John J. Hamblin.
Nancy retired from Staunton Steam Laundry, where she devoted many years as a bookkeeper. 
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Puffenbarger was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Hamblin. 
Surviving, in addition to her husband of 52 years, is a son, John Wesley Puffenbarger of Craigsville; a sister, Linda Fay (Hamblin) Hall of Florida; a granddaughter, Logan Marie Hill and her husband, Robbie; three great-grandchildren, Royce Robert Hill, Rhett James Hill, and Lillie Hill.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 22, 2025 in the Oaklawn Mausoleum by Rev. William “Bill” Trice.
The family will receive friends following the service. 
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
