Michael Whittington

Michael Amos Whittington, 46, of Winchester, VA passed away Friday, September 29, 2023, at his home in Winchester.

A funeral service for Michael will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 6, 2023, at Stover Funeral Home with Buster Doman officiating.

The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m.

Michael was born in Front Royal, VA on June 17, 1977, a son of Donna Joyce Whittington. Michael worked as an installation technician in the fire alarm and safety technology field. He loved the outdoors, camping, kayaking, music, electronics, and playing video games.

Survivors include his loving companion of over 20 years Dana White; his mother and stepfather Donna Whittington and Pearl Nickens; his maternal grandmother Joan Baer Whittington; his children Kaitlyn Foley, Taylor Whittington, and Mikayla Whittington; his siblings Brian Murphy and Dominique Nickens; a nephew Aries Bolanos along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

The family suggests that expression of sympathy be in the form of memorial contributions to Stover Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
