Michael Eugene Anderson

Michael Eugene Anderson, age 70, a resident of Strasburg, VA passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at Winchester Medical Center.

A graveside service for Mr. Anderson will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 20, 2023, at Riverview Cemetery with Pastor Bobby Funkhouser officiating.

Mr. Anderson was born in Winchester, VA on May 16, 1953, a son of the late Harvey and Mable Richards. He was of the Presbyterian faith, enjoyed hunting and his hot rod cars. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son John Michael Anderson.

Survivors include his wife Linda Lou Drummond Anderson; his daughter Crystal Anderson (Jermaine Alley); one grandson Bryce Alley; brothers Buzzy Anderson (Patti) and Sonny Anderson (Glenda); brother and sister-in-law Denny and Brenda Drummond. Michael was one of 12 children.

The pallbearers will be Brad Drummond, Brandi Drummond, Denny Drummond, Colin Barnes, Jermaine Alley, Bryce Alley, and Dave Sunder-Rao.
