Mattie "Kitty" Mae Noordzy

Mattie Mae "Kitty" Noordzy, 92, of Weyers Cave, Virginia went to be with her Lord on Friday, July 3, 2026 at her home surrounded by family.

She was born on May 14, 1934, and was a daughter of the late Harold H. and Frances (McFall) Hosaflook.

Kitty was a member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church. Where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday school.

Kitty was united in marriage to Marion "Loo" Noordzy for 72 years, who survives.

Kitty is survived by children Nancy Noordzy (Dee), Steven Noordzy (Jeanie), Robin Crosen (Larry), and Dianna Malott (Bill); sisters Betty Reid and Mary "Louise" Neiswander; grandchildren Shawn Corbin, Allison Ferrell (Jeff), Chris Crosen (Elsie), Mark Crosen (Kailey), Dylan and Samantha Malott; great-grandchildren Cody Corbin; Kevin, Beth, and Alex Ferrell; Maxton and Myles Crosen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Harold Hosaflook, Jr., and a son Ronald "Ronnie" Noordzy.

A memorial service celebrating Kitty's life will be held on July 11th at 11AM at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, with Pastor Derek Boggs officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Salem Lutheran Church, in memo put Special Health Needs fund in memory of Kitty.
