Mary Glenn Gladwell Davis

Mary Glenn Gladwell Davis, 90, widow of Douglas Robertson Davis, passed away Friday, June 9, 2023 at her residence.

Mrs. Davis was born on October 18, 1932 in Augusta County to the late Clarence Gladwell and Roy and Hazel Stogdale Lotts.

She retired from American Safety Razor. Mary Glenn was a member of New Providence Presbyterian where she held numerous offices. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 13.

Mary Glenn is survived by her daughters, Mary Linda Wolfe, Sandra K. Huntley, and Bonnie L. Griffin (Harold); her grandchildren, Kenneth Wolfe (Jelisa), Douglas Wolfe (Danielle), Heath Huntley (Stephanie), Michael Huntley (Heidi); Adam Huntley (Amanda), Jonathan Griffin (Mindy); great-grandchildren, Tyler Arbaugh, Mari-Peyton Kouchinski, Clarkson Wolfe, Jade Huntley, Keelin Wolfe, Brittany Mason, Allison Huntley, Blake, Caden and Cole Griffin, Jackson Craun, Mary-Grace Wolfe, Asher Huntley, and Alden Huntley; and special nieces and nephew.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, William Gladwell; a sister, Nancy Gladwell Thomas; sons-in-law, Isaac Wolfe and Richard Huntley; and a granddaughter, Tasha Griffin.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at New Providence Presbyterian Church by the Reverend Loren Mitchell. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be her great-grandchildren.
