Mary Elizabeth Barker

Mary Elizabeth Barker, 92, of Waynesboro, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024.
Mary was born in South Boston on November 7, 1931.

She was a homemaker and of the Southern Baptist Faith.

She was preceded in death by a son, Rev. Michael Barker, two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include her husband, Charles F. Barker; daughter, Kimberly Hathcock (Dr. Steve Sheheen) and a step-grandson, Justin Townsend.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2024 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes with Rev. Dr. Paul LaPrevotte officiating.

Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes and Crematory.
