Mary Christine (Richards) Wilkinson

Mary Christine Richards Wilkinson of Raphine, VA, passed away on August 16, 2026 to be with our Lord. She was 82 years old. Mary was born in Newport News, VA on January 2, 1944. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dalton and Virginia; her daughter, Lisa; her husband of forty years, Paul; her sisters, Nancy and Barbara; and brother, Charles. She is survived by her son, David and his wife Amy; her brother, Vaughn; grandchildren, Adam, Jake and Marlo; great granddaughters, Skyler and Shiloh; numerous nephews and nieces: her brother-in-law, Bryan and his wife, Connie, and their family. Mary was raised in Lynchburg and Roanoke, VA and attended Jefferson High School. She attended and was a member of Old Providence ARP Church in Steeles Tavern, VA. She enjoyed nature walks, gardening, water aerobics, reading, painting, jigsaw puzzles and her cats (Inky and one eye). She was beautiful, strong and resilient, athletic and healthy, and enjoyed a good laugh. A memorial service will be held at Old Providence ARP Church in Steeles Tavern, VA 24476, Sunday, August 30, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. A short reception will be held after the service at the church.
