Mary Ann (Kincaid) Clifton

Mary Ann (Kincaid) Clifton, 80, widow of Jessie Ray Clifton, of Lazy Acres Lane in Churchville, Virginia passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
     Mrs. Clifton was born on March 3, 1943 in Highland County, Virginia a daughter of the late Russell, Sr. and Stella (Puffenbarger) Kincaid.
     Mrs. Clifton was a member of Jerusalem Chapel and will be remembered for her smile and love for everyone. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and cooking.  
     In addition to her parents and husband of thirty-seven years, Mrs. Clifton was preceded in death by a son, Kenny Clifton; a brother, Russell Kincaid; Jr.; a sister, Iva Ailer; grandsons, Chris and Reggie Clifton; and granddaughters, Susan Marie and Mary Beth Clifton.
     Survivors include three sons, Ray M. Clifton and his wife Melody of Staunton, Ricky Clifton and his wife Judy of Churchville, and Wayne Clifton and his wife Janet of Moundsville, West Virginia; a daughter, Kimberly “Kim Clifton of Churchville; a brother, Johnny Kincaid of Churchville; two sisters, Lucy Plotner and Libby Clifton both of Churchville; four grandchildren, Ricky Lee Clifton and wife Madison, Molly Campbell and fiancé Chris Walker, Jimmy Lucas and Cody Clifton; and three great grandchildren, Isaiah, Jamari and Flora.
     A Graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 12, 2024 in Oaklawn Memory Gardens by Pastor Lester Kennedy.
     Active pallbearers will be her grandsons, Ricky Lee and Isaiah.
     It is suggested that those desiring make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 or New Directions, 110 West Johnson Street, Staunton, VA  24401.
     Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
