Mark "Tony" Anthony Ray

Mark Anthony “Tony” Ray, 62, of Sterling Street in Staunton, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at his residence. 
Tony was born in Fairfax, Virginia on December 11, 1961, a son of Helen Adams Roberts. 
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alva Ray and Lilly Belle Adams.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, is his girlfriend, April Welsh; children, Brad Cox, Samantha Ray, Sabrina Ray, Silver Ray and spouse, Shawn Reeves, and Marc Ray and spouse, Dana; two sisters, Virginia “Terri” Ray and Victoria Roberts; a niece, Samantha Perez; a nephew, Sterling Dunn; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Tony was previously employed by Mountain Valley Tower Service and was member of the Verona Moose Lodge. He was a loving, caring, God fearing man that was truly one of a kind. Tony had a passion for riding his Harley Davidson. He had many friends and was loved by all who knew him. 
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Norton, Virginia by Robert Underwood.
