Mae M. Reeder

CHURCHVILLE – Mae Minerva (Kull) Reeder, 81, of Churchville, died Tuesday (November 23, 2021) in her home. 

Born April 8, 1940 in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of George Ervin and Eva Mae (Starr) Kull. 

Mae devoted herself to supporting her husband, Lewis Reeder, in his ministry as pastor of Community Christian Fellowship. She served the church family in playing the piano and in numerous other ways.  When Lewis passed away in 2000, Mae assumed the role of pastoring their church.   

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ed and Mel Kull.  Surviving are four children, Lewis Russell Reeder II of Rockingham, Shelly Lynne Fix of Mt. Solon, Mark Alan Reeder of Jeffersonville, Ind., and David Andrew Reeder of Swoope; three brothers, George, Dave and Frank Kull; three grandsons; and two stepgranddaughters. 

There will be no public services.
