Louise Seekford

Louise V. Seekford   - Louise quietly slipped away to join her mother at the pearly gates on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital. 

She was the daughter of the late Lawerence and Essie Brill Linaweaver born January 22, 1929.  She was a graduate of Woodstock High School, class of 1946.  She was an agent for Peoples Life Insurance Company.  Mrs. Seekford qualified for the prestigious Women’s Leaders Round Table twice and National Sales Achievement Awards.  She was a member of Mountain View United Methodist.  On June 13, 1969, she married G. David Seekford, who survives.  She is also survived by a son, Jimmy Raynor and three stepdaughters, Dee Dee Butler, Theresa Seekford, and Anita Seekford, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Raynor, and two brothers, Robert, and Carl. 

A graveside service for Mrs. Seekford will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the Massanutten Cemetery, Woodstock, VA with Rev. Mike Pettry and Rev. Bill Erbach officiating.

Memorials may be given to a charity of one’s choice.
