Lorie Ann Morris

Lorie Ann Morris, 62, of Waynesboro, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023.

She was born on April 4, 1961, and was a daughter of the late Carl R. Morris, Sr. and Margaret (Gibson) Morris.

Lorie had worked in the healthcare field for many years, and then for Perdue in Bridgewater for fifteen years.

Lorie is survived by siblings, Carl R. Morris, Jr., and Donna Sue Farrell; nieces and nephews, Angela Myers and husband, Jason, Penny Mitchell, Clayton Wayne Morris, Meneika Chandler, Michael Farrell and wife, Jenny, Joey Farrell and companion, Sarah; great nieces and nephews, Zachary Myers and fiancé, Mattie Gillespie, Cole Myers, Justin Mitchell, Connor Mitchell, Ryan Thomas and husband, Byron, Gabriel Keith, Elijah Keith, Ava Farrell, Vivian Farrell; great-great niece and nephew, Micah Thomas, Aurelia Thomas; step-sister, Sammye Sponaugle and husband Elmer; step-brother, Mack Baber.

A memorial service celebrating Lorie's life will be held at 2 PM on Friday, January 5, 2024, at Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Grottoes, with Pastor Rodney Gibson officiating. Burial will be private.
