Lois "Sis" (Campbell) Lee

November 6, 1954 - March 11, 2025

Lois “Sis” (Campbell) Lee, born on November 6, 1954, in Staunton, VA, passed away peacefully in her home in Lyndhurst VA, on March 11, 2025, surrounded by family and loved ones. She was the beloved daughter of the late Charles “Ted” and Gladys Campbell.
Lois is survived and missed by her loving husband, Henry Lee, of 48 years and their daughters, Jennifer Lee and fiancé, Michael Martin of Northern, VA and Hollie Lee of Lyndhurst, VA, who cared for her over the past few years. She is forever cherished and remembered by her two granddaughters, Abigail and Hannah Young and her son-in-law, Allen Young. In addition, Lois will remain in the memories of her two special great-nephews, Sawyer and Silas Golladay, who fondly knew her as Grandma Sis. Lois was eagerly awaiting the arrival of her great-niece, Saylor Golladay, whom though she was unable to meet, already held a special place in her heart alongside her brothers. Lois is also survived by her loving sister, Barbara Davis and her husband, Richard Davis of Dale Enterprise. Lois was a devoted aunt to five nieces and one nephew along with their families, including: JoAnn and Scott Hevener, Cindy and Jeremy Harman, Cathy and Kenny Crider, Robin Davis, Scott Davis, and Anna and Justin Golladay.
Lois was born and raised in Augusta County and grew up on farms. She was a graduate of Broadway High School and received her Associate’s Degree from Dominion Business College. Though Lois worked her entire life, her greatest joy was her children and her family. Lois loved being a wife, mother, sister, and aunt above all else. Later in her life, she happily added grandmother to her list of titles. Lois loved both of her granddaughters, Abigail and Hannah, and found no greater joy than being their grandmother. She was also an animal lover and always had her two dogs, Toby and Luna, by her side. Lois enjoyed music, especially old country gospel music. She was creative and enjoyed painting and drawing. She also enjoyed cooking and baking. She was famously known for her iced sugar cookies. Like her mother, Lois loved the beautiful color of flowers and always had a bouquet of them nearby.
Although Lois’s physical presence may no longer grace our lives, our warm memories of the special times we shared with her will continue to live in our hearts. May her memory be a blessing and may we carry forth her legacy of love and compassion in all that we do. Her laughter will continue to be heard in our hearts for years to come.
