Linda M. Campbell

CHURCHVILLE – Linda Jean Morris Campbell, 68, of Churchville, died Sunday (February 27, 2022) in Augusta Health.

Linda was born January 15, 1954 in Staunton, the daughter of the late Calvin Ray and Evelyn Jean (Lambert) Morris. She was a 1972 graduate of Buffalo Gap High School and a member of Jerusalem Chapel United Brethren in Christ Church. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Unifi. Linda’s special joys included attending Buffalo Gap ball games, taking day trips to Charlestown, and playing Bingo.

Surviving are two sons, Barry Stephen Campbell and wife Patricia, and Matthew Scott Campbell and wife Airiana, all of Staunton; a brother, Stephen Ray Morris of Churchville; two granddaughters, Riley and Bailey Campbell; numerous aunts and cousins; and special friends Diane Clifton, Betty Knott and Callie Reese.

A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 2 in Green Hill Cemetery, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. in Jerusalem Chapel, officiated by Pastor Mark Tinsley. Active pallbearers will be Barry and Matthew Campbell, Stephen Morris, Gary Michael, and Tim and Rodger Huffman. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Lambert Jr., Johnny Halterman and Arnold Morris.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Bear Funeral Home.
