Linda Grissom

Linda Sue Grissom, 74, of Strasburg, VA passed away Monday, January 27, 2025, at her home in Strasburg, VA. 

Mrs. Grissom was born in Petersburg, WV on February 4, 1950, a daughter of the late Harold Dayton and Wilda Hazel McNemar Sisler.  Mrs. Grissom was an avid Denver Broncos fan and had worked for Rogers Service Center and Bowl American in Manassas, VA.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Rhonda Grissom and a brother Jerry Sisler. 

Survivors include her husband Ronald Eugene Grissom of Strasburg, VA; her children Rebecca Knight (Joshua), Ronald Grissom, II (Renee Hampton), Rita Polk, and Brian Grissom (Leslie Cox); 11 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; her siblings Larry Sisler (Debbie), and Shirley Hott along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

A funeral service for Mrs. Grissom will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 3, 2025, at Stover Funeral Home with Rev. Sanford Silver officiating.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Knobley Cemetery, New Creek, WV.

The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M.

Pallbearers will be Ronald Grissom, II, Brian Grissom, Patrick Knight, Joshua Knight, Larry Sisler, and Joshua Knight, Jr.
